Matt Frohman (host):
Matt grew up in Chappaqua, New York and upon graduation from high school, embarked on his college career at the State University of New York at New Paltz. A performance and drama major, Matt had an epiphany shortly after graduation - being a struggling actor was not going to pay the bills or help support the family he envisioned having. Looking back to his childhood for inspiration, Matt recalled his love of nature and the environment, of asking questions and discovering answers about the world around him. Rich Marshall (host):
Raised in Cambridge, England, Rich began working with individuals with disabilities while still living in his native land. From the start, it was a life he loved. So he jumped at an opportunity in 1996 to travel to the United States and spend a summer working at a camp for adults with disabilities. The trip combined the job he loved and the sense of adventure his parents instilled in him on their jaunts to the continent. Rich currently lives in Brewster, NY with his beautiful wife, Crissy. Michael Pewtress (Producer):
Michael is part of the Productive Storm Media (PSM) team, and had the good fortune of mentoring under Brent Stanley, an Emmy award winning editor, for two years. He has worked with the Canadian Football League, and with Stars such as Toby Keith, Keith Urban, Johnny Reid, and Brad Paisley on The Promoter. PSM is a talented group that specialize in the development, production and post-production of digital media entertainment in Calgary, Alberta. Past creative works by individuals in Productive Storm Media's team have aired on Global, Rogers Sportsnet, and many corporate and local business websites such as the IBAA. Dan Gibbons (Writer):
Dan Gibbins is an award winning playwright and freelance writer based in Calgary, Alberta. Dan's plays have been performed in festivals across Canada, but primarily with Calgary's Scorpio Theatre. In addition to being writer-in-residence for Scorpio, he also blogs about travel, theatre, and life here in the future at talesfrompartsunknown.com.Â .
Gil is a writer, editor, and media and political consultant, who spent a decade on a national desk at The Associated Press. He has contributed articles in his 20+ years in journalism to Gannet Newspapers, The Scarsdale Inquirer, Newsday and many others. The New York Press Association awarded him first place for his coverage of education in 2006. Gil earned a B.A. and a Masters from the State University of New York in English and education, respectively. He was the co-editor of the 2013 Program Guide for the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts' Summer Festival and is currently the writer for the syndicated radio program, "Where Are They Now with Ahmad Rashad." Katie grew up on the Seacoast of New Hampshire. After graduating, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina, she began a fun and adventurous career in media and advertising in Boston (Improper Bostonian Magazine), New Hampshire, Chicago and Maine. She specializes in advertising, marketing and public relations. Her experience is in both digital and traditional media, advertising, sports and experiential marketing, public relations, social media, sales, management, creative and planning.
